Rejoice! A brand spanking new novel from Zara Stoneley! In the words of Savage Garden, “I knew I loved you before I met you” or in this case read you. Gorgeous and talented illustrator Becky is dumped by her plonker of a boyfriend Teddy. To get said plonker out of her system and to find herself again, Becky decides to house sit for Instagram trend setter Georgina in Cumbria. And we are taken on a hilarious journey set against a beautiful, breathtaking and scenic back drop. The characters are great and the chemistry is spot on. This has everything you come to expect from this authors novels, wit, sarcasm, warmth and innuendo in spades. And the star of this particular book show is Bella, the cockapoo. Oh my word she is an absolutely gorgeous delight! I always feel warm, cozy and constantly smile when I read this authors books, in my opinion the perfect antidote to lockdown, a rainy dayan any day or night read. You will feel so much lighter after reading a Zara Stoneley novel.
