Fabulous festive fun

My fourth read by this author and I absolutely loved it. I don’t think I will ever tire off reading books by Zara. She brings so much to a story. The humour is by far the best part of her stories and this has it in full on snow blizzard style straight from the off. But it’s not all twinkly lights and tinsel. There are some deeper and raw elements with some not so pleasant surprises revealed, which made me gasp and feel so much for the characters on a new level. A perfect setting and lovely character’s, Poppy being one of my favourites and a feral cat to boot. Moving on and learning to love oneself as you are set in a perfect magical Christmas world beautifully described. A perfect cosy Christmas read that will thaw even the hardiest of Scrooge’s.
